PRP · Platelet-Rich Plasma in Valencia

Natural regeneration, using your own blood's growth factors.

What it is

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is one of the most natural treatments in aesthetic medicine: it is obtained from your own blood and applied to stimulate collagen, regenerate skin or strengthen hair. It adds nothing external to your body — it concentrates and reuses what you already have.

What it can help with

Facially it improves radiance, texture and a tired appearance; on the scalp it stimulates weakened follicles to slow shedding and improve density.

Two main applications

The same technique, two different goals depending on where it is applied.

Facial PRP

Stimulates collagen production and dermal regeneration. Improves radiance, texture and a tired appearance, progressively and very naturally.

Areas: face, eye contour, neck, décolletage and hands.

Scalp PRP

Stimulates the hair follicle to slow shedding and improve density and thickness of existing hair. One of the most requested applications.

Ideal for: diffuse shedding, weakened hair and as support alongside other treatments.

How it works

We take a small blood sample, centrifuge it in the clinic to concentrate the growth factors, and apply it with micro-injections, in a protocol of three sessions three to four weeks apart.

What to expect, session by session

First hours

Mild redness and sometimes small bruises at the injection points. They disappear within hours and need no rest.

3–4 weeks

The improvement from the first session appears: brighter skin with better texture, or reduced shedding in scalp treatment.

Full protocol

The effect is cumulative. The real difference shows after the third session and is maintained with periodic top-ups.

Aftercare: avoid intense exercise, sauna and pools for 24 hours; no make-up on the day for facial treatment; do not wash your hair for 24 hours after scalp PRP; and avoid anti-inflammatories around the session unless medically indicated.

Who it may suit

It suits dull or tired-looking skin, hair loss or weakening, and anyone who prefers a regenerative treatment using their own biological material.

Benefits and limitations

Because it uses your own plasma the risk of reaction is minimal and the result is very natural, but the effect is progressive (3–4 weeks) and needs a course of sessions plus maintenance. It adds no volume and does not correct laxity.

Who it suits — and who it does not

A good candidate if…

Your skin looks dull or tired, you notice hair shedding or weakening, or you prefer a regenerative treatment using your own biological material.

Not indicated if…

You have a clotting disorder or take anticoagulants, have certain blood conditions or an active infection in the area, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Common questions

Where does the plasma come from?
From a small sample of your own blood, centrifuged in the clinic to concentrate the growth factors before it is applied. The whole process happens in the same session.
Is it safe?
Because it uses your own plasma, the risk of rejection or allergy is minimal. We work with sterile single-use material and a closed protocol.
Does it work for hair too?
Yes, scalp PRP is one of the most common applications for stimulating the follicle and slowing shedding.
Does it hurt?
The blood draw is like any blood test. Application is with micro-injections and topical anaesthetic beforehand if you prefer; the scalp can be a little more sensitive.
How many sessions do I need?
The usual protocol is three sessions three to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 6–12 months depending on the case and response.
When are results visible?
This is a regenerative treatment, not a filler: the effect is progressive over 3–4 weeks, with cumulative improvement between sessions.
Can I carry on as normal afterwards?
Yes. There may be mild redness or small bruises at injection points for a few hours. We only ask you to avoid intense exercise and sauna for the first 24 hours.
Are there cases where it is not recommended?
Clotting disorders, anticoagulant treatment, certain blood conditions, active infection in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding. That is why we always carry out a prior medical assessment.
